Most schools play cricket and there are several venues that hold world class Cricket venues in the UAE that hold regular 1 day internationals and test Cricket matches between the leading nations in the world.

The ICC are also based in Dubai at the Dubai Sports City development, relocating to promote the game further.

Emirates this year launched the Dubai Cricket 20 / 20 cricket tournament at their 7's facility which is aiming to become an established event in the cricket sporting calendar.
