Film Score represents Godolphin in the Group Three Betfair Gordon Stakes over a mile and a half at Glorious Goodwood on Tuesday, July 27. The lightly-raced three-year-old son of Street Cry moves up in distance after running on well to come home a never-nearer fourth over 10 furlongs in the Listed Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 17.
On his only other appearance, Film Score quickened well to post a three quarters of a length victory in a Newmarket maiden, also over 10 furlongs, on May 28.
Mahmood Al Zarooni, his trainer, commented: "I have been pleased with Film Set recently and he has improved since his last start.
"He showed signs of inexperience at Royal Ascot and he didn’t want to go through the gaps between horses - hopefully he has learnt from that run.
"I think that he will prefer the step up to a mile and a half but I am not sure whether he will cope with the course at Goodwood.
"He is a well-balanced horse but you cannot be sure that they will act on the track until they run there."
Film Set, the mount of Ahmed Ajtebi, lines up against nine in the Betfair Gordon Stakes including Group Two King Edward VII Stakes runner-up Arctic Cosmos, King George V Handicap winner Dandino, impressive York handicap victor Rebel Soldier and Group Three Bahrain Trophy winner Corsica.
Godolphin has been successful in the Betfair Gordon Stakes with Nedawi, who dead-heated with Rabah in 1998.
